Whether you’re an entrepreneur or business owner, building out your sales funnel using high-quality software is key to sales success in 2020.
Understanding and visualizing the customer’s journey has always been an integral part of sales, but building funnels using leading technology allows you to perfect your sales messages at each stage and, as a result, to really target and improve your conversion rates.
Salesforce’s 2019 survey indicates that around 80% of sales professionals use technology to improve their sales rates. If you aren’t using leading technology to monitor your sales funnels, your business is at risk of falling behind…
But how do you decide which software to choose?
Whilst both Builderall and ClickFunnels are two of the best options, which one suits your business better will depend on a number of key factors that I will explore in this article…Builderall vs. ClickFunnels: Which Is Best In 2021?
Things To Consider Before Buying Sales Funnel Software
First and foremost, your sales funnel software obviously needs to incorporate all of the marketing functions necessary for your business. Luckily, whilst some funnel software skips out on features like email marketing or webinar building, both ClickFunnels and Builderall are more “all-in-one” platforms. Both are likely to contain all the functions you could possibly need but we will go into detail on the specific features throughout the article so that you can make a totally informed choice.
Balancing the number of features you’d like to incorporate alongside your budget is key. Whilst it can be great to have a bunch of additional marketing features in one place, this may not be necessary depending on the existing technology that you have set up.
Perhaps the most important factor to consider when buying sales funnel software is how intuitive the user experience is. The best sales funnel software will allow you to build (and customize) your funnels without spending hours learning how to best use the software.
With this in mind, we are going to be comparing Builderall and ClickFunnels through the following categories:
- Ease of use
- Marketing/ sales tools incorporated/integrated
- Analytics tools incorporated
- Price and value for money
So as to fully understand which sales funnel software is best for your business, you should read this article in full. However, if you’re pushed for time, you can skip to the final paragraph for a brief summary.
Builderall describes their platform as the “most complete and powerful digital marketing platform in the world” (Builderall) but how does it match up to this claim?
Well, since it includes not only everything that you could need to build out a sales funnel but app software too, it can certainly be described as complete. With its inclusion of such a variety of tools, Builderall is perhaps most aimed at entrepreneurs who are just starting out and looking for a complete marketing and sales solution.
- Affordable and flexible pricing
- Intuitive and easy to use
- Great online training
- Responsive web pages are more difficult to create
- Less integration options
ClickFunnels, which boasts a community of over 140,191 users (ClickFunnels), has long been described as the all-in-one solution for scaling a business online.
While more expensive than Builderall, the range of data analytics tools and marketing integrations that it incorporates are more extensive.
Read on to find out whether these would benefit your business offer…
- Great integrations
- Easy creation of membership sites
- Great data analytics
- Packages are more expensive
- Less easy to customize funnels
Builderall VS. ClickFunnels Compared
Let’s analyze these two options more deeply…
1. Ease Of Use
Whether you’re just starting out with building your funnels or you’re simply looking to change software, having an intuitive, easy to use platform that automates tasks can save you a lot of time and stress. Whilst both ClickFunnels and Builderall are designed to be used by everyone, from beginners to more advanced users, there are some differences in how easy to use they actually are…
ClickFunnels promises that you will be able to set up your funnel in just 10 minutes. This includes picking a template, customizing it, and setting up a split test. This is an impressive claim and, sure, it’s possible, particularly with the great drag and drop function.
However, many users find that the lack of templates (in comparison to the volume on sites like Builderall) means that setting up standout funnels is a little more difficult on ClickFunnels. In particular, itt’s a little harder to create a web page that doesn’t obviously look like a ClickFunnels page. Though the templates that are already included in ClickFunnels are tested and configured towards improving conversion rates, they are limited in design. There is also an option to customize a blank template in ClickFunnels but this can take a little more time to set up.
Whilst Builderall offers a huge range of templates across a variety of industries, they also have extensive YouTube training videos and articles that can guide you through set-up. Their templates are great whether you are just starting out or you want to build an SEO-optimized, advanced design. When trying to build responsive web pages (that work well on mobile) it’s a good idea to check these out as setting these up can be a little more difficult but mobile-responsive webpages are crucial in 2020.
When it comes to user support, ClickFunnel’s Facebook group does answer a lot of questions and their YouTube channel is active. It can just take a little more time to find the relevant information for your funnel building when you are just starting out. In comparison, Builderall offers step by step instructions.
2. Marketing/ Sales Tools Incorporated/Integrated
The ability to target every stage of the funnel and to progress your audience through the buyer’s journey is key to generating sales. Whether already included or feeding through from tech integration, having the right marketing and sales tools to target each stage is crucial.
So let’s break down which main tools Builderall and ClickFunnels include…
Builderall’s email marketing integration is Mailingboss. In this, you have most of the features you would expect from email marketing software- drag and drop design, the ability to segregate audiences, the ability to add subscribers and so on. You can send emails to lists of up to 10,000 people and even work from drafts of email scripts! However, one thing to bear in mind is that configuring set-up so as to prevent emails from going into spam can be a little more difficult with Mailingboss.
Whilst ClickFunnels email marketing is only incorporated in their platinum package, the features that it offers through Actionetics are a step above that of Builderall.
As well as everything Mailingboss offers, by connecting your email marketing with the rest of your funnel through Actionetics, you can target customers based on their previous actions and characteristics. In this way, Actionetics really harnesses the latest technology to bring about advancements in sales success.
What’s more, Actionetics incorporates all communication channels- including SMS and Facebook messenger etc.-in one, meaning that you can seamlessly target your prospective customers wherever they are and with congruent messaging.
E-Learning/ Online Courses:
Online courses are a great way to introduce an audience to your product/service in order to warm them up to buying. Both Builderall and ClickFunnels have great online course builders incorporated, through which you can design and set up courses to slot into your existing funnels. Just as with the landing page builders in Builderall and ClickFunnels, you can brand and customize these platforms. The only difference between the two is that, whilst ClickFunnels allows you to create pages that need a log-in, as necessary for online courses, the process of building a membership site is a little more complicated in Builderall.
Social Media Tools:
A key aspect of most digital sales funnels is social media and both Builderall and ClickFunnels reflect this in their inclusion of social media tools.
Builderall’s social auto post app allows you to schedule all your content and, the design integrations allow you to ensure that your branding is consistent throughout. What’s more, the video editor allows you to create great marketing videos for your sales pages and social media accounts. The more expensive package also incorporates Facebook and YouTube live streaming tools which allow you to share your webinar on social media.
ClickFunnels also offers integration with Facebook and other social media platforms. Its incorporation of Actionetics means that you can
If you are running an e-commerce business and want to connect to external tools that will boost your success, you may struggle more with using Builderall which is more limited in its integrations. ClickFunnels, on the other hand, easily works with many tools, like Shopify, allowing you to sell more products and reduce your cart abandonment rates.
Both Builderall and ClickFunnels incorporate upsell and down-sell builders which are crucial ways to boost your e-commerce store’s revenue.
Affiliate Program Integration:
Whilst Builderall has no real affiliate management system integrated into it, ClickFunnels’ “Backpack” program is very comprehensive. This is a great benefit since affiliate schemes are one of the most cost-effective ways to get your business offer seen by a wide audience.
Backpack sets up your affiliate pages, tracking pixels, and so on so that you don’t have to figure anything technically complicated out yourself. With Backpack, you don’t have to worry about manually logging your affiliate sales or payments and it’s really easy to set up commission structures. This will save you a lot of time!
3. Analytics Tools Incorporated
Having a great funnel is all well and good, but, without continually testing and adjusting it based on ongoing data, your results will be limited.
While ClickFunnels’ Actionetics incorporation means that the ability to analyze and segregate audiences to target them is already strong, their data analytics tools go even further than this. By analyzing your entire funnels based on data points and visualizations (like heat maps), you can pinpoint any issues and fix your funnels to maximize conversions.
Builderall, on the other hand, contains far less extensive data analytics tools. Whilst you can see basic data points and connect to third parties, like Google Analytics, for more, if you are looking for more advanced data, you might be best choosing ClickFunnels.
Both pieces of software do, however, incorporate great split testing functionality. Split testing your landing pages and other aspects of your funnels means that you can continually ensure that you are getting the best possible results. Even changing the smallest things, like specific images or phrasing, can increase your conversion rate. ClickFunnels’ A/B split testing is particularly good since it shows the two side by side and in detail.
4. Price and Value For Money
Where Builderall and ClickFunnels differ most clearly is in their pricing. Whilst Builderall’s plans range from a free package to $199 per month, ClickFunnels plans range from $99 a month to $2,497 a month for the TwoCommaClub package. However, when considering the features that the two platforms offer, how do these two software actually compare in terms of value for money?
The Builderall Free Plan contains many of the features in the two priced plans, perhaps more than would be expected. Including everything from the drag and drop website builder to A/B testing, you really get a chance to try out the software here.
However, since the Free Plan contains Builderall advertising across the board, most people will likely choose to pay for one of the other plans because of the impact of Builderall advertising on their business image.
The Builderall Premium Plan offers great value for money. It includes most of the awesome features we’ve mentioned so far throughout this article, just excluding some of the funnel templates and marketing functions.
Since the most expensive Builderall Plan, however, sits at only $199/month, it is definitely worth checking this out! Having access to the full marketing functionality and premium funnels is going to allow you to sell more so you will likely make the money back that you spend.
ClickFunnels’ Basic Plan, in comparison, includes all of the features besides additional coaching, Backpack, and follow up funnels, which allow you to retarget customers who leave your funnels. Since neither of these are crucial to success with your sales funnels, if you’re a single entrepreneur and don’t need many domain names, you could get by really well with just this Basic Plan. It offers really good value for money.
For large businesses or those looking for a lot of support, the TwoCommaClub package can be worth investing in since it allows you to add up to 10 users and incorporates priority support. However, for most people paying $2,497 a month will be unnecessary and the middle package- at $297 a month, will provide all the features that we have mentioned throughout the article and even more.
Really, there is no saying whether Builderall or ClickFunnels offers better value for money. Each package within both offers great value for money for different users. This is especially true when considering the amazing affiliate programs that both ClickFunnels and Builderall incorporate.
By becoming an affiliate for either ClickFunnels or Builderall, you can make money by simply recommending their software! Neither one of the two has a better affiliate system, but they are both different…
If you’re looking for funnel building software that also incorporates a strong CRM system, it is definitely worth checking out Ontraport. With activity and automation logs and more, you can keep all your customer data in one place. What’s more, Ontraport is less expensive than ClickFunnels with plans ranging from $79 to $497 monthly. Just bear in mind that Ontraport is intended more for large businesses with large customer bases and, if you don’t have this in place, its extra features will be of little use to you.
If your funnels mainly consist of ads and strong landing pages and you aren’t worried about building out the rest, it’s a good idea to check out Unbounce. Whilst it doesn’t offer many of the features that Clickfunnels and Builderall do, it can match up your landing pages perfectly with your ads to create a seamless experience that increases conversions.
Overall, it’s clear that which funnel building software you choose will depend upon your business type…
As an entrepreneur or a small business owner that is just starting out, Builderall is a great option. Not only is it incredibly easy to build and customize landing pages and to set up basic marketing functions, but you have a bunch of training resources at your disposal! You can also get a lot of this without paying anything in the free plan!
On the other hand, if you’re looking for software that is a little more advanced-particularly as part of a larger team or e-commerce business- ClickFunnels has a lot to offer. Whilst it takes a little longer to get used to, its marketing and sales tools really couldn’t be more extensive. Further than this, its data analytics tools allow you to make tweaks really effectively.
